After living in the San Juan Islands for just 13 years, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream, and complete an endeavour I began in 1987 - to become a Private Pilot. So I spent the spring and summer of 2007 as a student pilot, and earned my Private Pilot's Licence in September 2007, the day before my birthday! Within a week I had combined photography and aviation for the newest passion in my life - aerial photography!
